Life at Google has not changed much after the elevation of Sundar Pichai as its CEO, as the internet company has many Indians holding senior positions, marketing director for Google India Sandeep Menon said. "Well if you look at Google a lot of senior people have been Indians, and so the life has not changed much," Menon told reporters here while responding to a query if there was a change in the mood of the company after India-born Pichai was elevated to chief executive officer's post. Menon who participated in the Google event showcasing latest product innovations said Indians have always been there working for the company. "We have Indians such as Amit Singhal as Search chief and Sridhar Ramaswamy as ads senior vice president. Sundar Pichai has always been senior. Forty percent engineer based employees would be Indians. So, it is not that there is any dearth of Indians. They have always been there," he said. Asked when Pichai is expected to visit the count...

He didn't say when the baby is due.  Zuckerberg, 31, also said the couple had suffered three miscarriages over the last two years. So you struggle on your own," Zuckerberg wrote. "It's a lonely experience."  The social media mogul added, "In today's ope...

Reddit Inc.'s new chief executive officer said he's unlikely to reverse some of the changes that caused a user revolt and led to Ellen Pao's resignation after eight months on the job. Steve Huffman, a co-founder of the San Francisco-based online forum, said in an Ask Me Anything on Reddit that Pao was "not used as a scapegoat" and he planned to stick with some of her most unpopular decisions, such as deleting malicious threads including one called "fatpeoplehate" and firing Victoria Taylor, who coordinated the AskMeAnything question-and-answer sessions. Taylor's firing on July 2 led to online protests the next day. The company won't tolerate forums that promote bullying and threats against other users, and there were valid reasons for Taylor's dismissal, Huffman said. "I know she was well-loved by many moderators, and I'm very sorry at how everything played out. It could have been handled much better," Huffman wrote. "Ho...
